Amazon has acquired BookSurge, an on-demand printing and fulfillment company, in a bid to generate more revenue from hard-to-find books, the online retailer said Monday. BookSurge has a catalog of thousands of titles that buyers can print on-demand, including many books in foreign languages or out of print.
