Renovation of the Heart

Dallas Willard's new book, Renovation of the Heart, models the mind-body-spirit connection in a series of concentric circles that encompass each outer circle beginning in the middle with: heart/will, thoughts, feelings, social context, and soul. His premise is that by unlocking our hearts one can achieve communion with God through Jesus Christ. Dallas is Professor of Philosophy at USC.

Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)

"Yet each man kills the thing he loves,
By each let this be heard,
Some do it with a bitter look,
Some with a flattering word,
The coward does it with kiss,
The brave man with a sword!"
(The Ballad of Reading Gaol)
