UNC Writer Hits Big Time

Wayne Caldwell, '73 latest novel, Cataloochee, is about the tragic demise of one of his mother's cousins in the Cataloochee Valley near the Tenn. line, was picked up by Random House which is anxiously awaiting his sequel. Wayne runs a furniture business and has written for twenty years before Random House picked up his book after years of rejection letters.
