Purpose:
The purpose of our class is to explore the various writing genres, how to prepare book proposals for non-fiction manuscripts, how to write a query letter to literary agents or editors for fiction manuscripts, editing and polishing your manuscript, marketing your book after it is published. The class is geared towards first-time writers, but more experienced writers of all genres who wish to learn about the mystery and suspense thriller or mainstream fiction genre are welcomed.
Cost:
Cost is $600 per participant for the 12-week course due at the beginning of the class. Participants incur long distance charges.

A list-serv will be available to help you communicate with your fellow class members. I will coordinate the list-serv and will be responsible for homework assignments, feedback, and addressing questions arising between classes.
